Bought this book as Christmas gifts for family and friends. I’ve read the book twice already and plan on reading it many times over. The author really has you thinking about the different stages of a deer’s life and how to not leave that big buck sighting to chance. I recommend this book to anyone that has hunted LA for 40+ years to those novice hunters trying to learn more about this wonderful pastime.
I am not real far into reading yet but i think a must read to learn about the hx of our deer in this state especially if you have hunted your life and over age 50 i am 64 and enjoy the history . I live in desoto parish where some of the transplant occurred but grew up richland parish i hunted there and morehouse in the late 1960s and early 1970 and madison parish big deer country. Body and antler . I think it would be good read for brandnew hinters also . Thanks mr moreland
